I was inspired to start caring for dogs because of my family and friends.   They say I have a gift with animals.  I really do love animals and it seems to be mutual.

I was also inspired by my Keeshond, Nikki.  He did not like kennels or cages.  He would not go in one after I adopted him from the Humane Society.   When he was older, no one wanted to board him due to his age and need for injections.  Nikki passed several years ago but I wanted a place that would accept any dog.  I'm doing my best to meet that need.
